SRL Publishing wins International Environment Award

SRL PUBLISHING WINS INTERNATIONAL GREEN APPLE ENVIRONMENT AWARD IN CAMPAIGN TO FIND THE GREENEST COMPANIES

SRL Publishing competed against more than 500 companies in the International Green Apple Awards, and they will be presented with their award, Best Environmental Practice, at a glittering presentation ceremony in the Houses of Parliament, London, on November 15^th.

As a result of their success, they have been invited to accept Green World Ambassador status and have their winning paper published in The Green Book (the leading international work of reference on environmental best practice) so that others around the world can follow their lead and learn from their achievement.

This will also entitle them to represent their country in the Green World Environment Awards that are held in a different country every year, with 2022 being planned in Abu Dhabi.

The Green Apple Awards are run by The Green Organisation – an international, independent, non-profit, non-political environment group that began in 1994 to recognise, reward, and promote environmental best practices from around the world.

SRL Publishing is an award-winning, climate positive, book publishing company based in Hertfordshire. In 2019 they partnered with Rainforest Trust and donated book sales which helped them save between 500,000 – 750,000 trees in Peru from deforestation. Since June 2020, they have been planting trees and have planted over 3,200 trees in Madagascar and helped with over 50 tonnes of Carbon Reduction through supporting projects in Haiti, Istanbul, Uruguay, India, and Columbia.

SRL Publishing recently won a CEO Today Magazine Award, and the company is currently shortlisted for a BusinessGreen Leaders Award, to be announced in September.
