Anna Gilford

Anna Gilford is a musician, DJ, producer, television personality, actress, and performer born and raised in London. She is best known by her musical stage name Honey G. In 2016 she divided viewers and critics alike appearing on ITV’s The X Factor with her unique rap act and, as a result, became one of the most searched-for people on Google that year globally. 

With a passion for music, Anna studied Music Production at University whilst becoming a popular and well received DJ and Club Event promoter, both at home in the UK and Europe. As Honey G progressed through The X Factor competition gaining more and more public support, and a few harsh critics along the way, her performances catapulted her into being a celebrity with global recognition. She counts Snoop Dog and 50 Cent as two of her key supporters, and was mentored by Sharon Osbourne into a respectable fifth place finish.

After The X Factor tour and releasing a song, Honey G was in high demand touring nationwide and in Europe. Anna continues to attract media opportunities as both Honey G and herself. She is still very passionate about all things music and continues to write and produce under her own record label. More recently, Anna has been particularly focused on her fitness journey and her weight loss. She currently lives in North London with her partner and is an ambassador for several charities with a focus on tackling mental health issues and the protection of vulnerable women.
