SRL Publishing, have announced that it has been named as one of the winners in the prestigious One Planet® Awards in the Start-Up of the Year category for a second year running.
The coveted One Planet Awards is world’s premier awards program honouring the best in business and professional excellence in every industry from around the world. Organisations that were shortlisted included public and private, for-profit and non-profit, largest to smallest and new start-ups.
Judges from a broad spectrum of industry voices from around the world participated and their average scores determined the 2020 award winners. Winners will be celebrated and presented their awards during a virtual awards ceremony in December.

The One Planet Awards recognises companies for their business and professional excellence. The One Planet Awards honours are currently conferred in category sections which include outstanding individuals, executives, teams, new products and services, PR, Marketing, and Corporate Communications, and organisations from all over the world.
SRL Publishing is a book publisher based in the UK. Their ‘Breaking the Silence’ ethos runs through their core, publishing books that tackle the tough issues and to open up conversations. Recent topics include bereavement, depression in children, LGBT issues and climate change. SRL Publishing is a supporter of Rainforest Trust and donated a percentage of book sales which helped them save over 500,000 trees in Peru from deforestation. More recently, SRL Publishing have teamed up with Ecologi, and through their partnership have planted over 600 trees in Madagascar, and have sequestered over 25 tonnes of carbon emissions through supporting projects in Haiti, Istanbul, Uruguay, India and Columbia.
The publisher was recently recognised by Theo Paphitis by winning his Small Business Sunday in August, and won Best Company and Best Start-Up at the 2019 One Planet Awards. Founder and Director, Stuart Debar, has recently been shortlisted for Leader of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2020 Business Green Awards, to be announced on October 15th, and has also been shortlisted at the 2020 CEO Today Magazine awards.
