Below you will find details that are useful when placing orders to be shipped outside of the UK, including the EU VAT and customs guidance.
Delivery to the EU27
In response to the UK leaving the EU, all goods passing into the EU27 countries from the UK will now be subject to VAT regardless of value.
Orders for the EU27 will be dispatched using international post and you will be charged a shipping cost. Orders sent will require a phone number to allow for the destination countrys’ customs and the courier to contact the end customer if needed for final delivery. Please note delivery cannot be made to PO Boxes.
EU27 Delivery – £9.00 + £1 Per Additional Item
Due to the UK leaving the EU, shipping to the EU27 now comes with additional charges such as VAT. UPS has also introduced a £2.90 ‘Brexit Fee’. Each EU27 country has their own VAT rate ranging from 3% – 25%. As a result, we now charge a flat rate of £9 plus £1 for each additional item. This flat rate delivery charge will cover all customs duties, taxes, and charges and will also be trackable meaning the end customer will not have to pay any VAT or customs charges.
Estimated delivery time: Around 10 working days from dispatch.
Are there any customs charges for me?
For orders heading into the EU27 from the UK, please note your delivery could be subject to import duties and taxes which are added once the products reach the country of destination.
We use a DDP delivery meaning Delivery Duties Paid, which means all duties, customs charges, and VAT has been paid by us. By ordering from us, it is accepted that we have no control over any additional charges relating to customs clearance and we recommend that you check with your local post office or customs officials for more information regarding potential taxes that may be added.
Rest of the World
While the majority of our books are printed in the UK, we can also print our books in the US and Australia, making it easier to ship worldwide. Our shipping rates from the UK into non-EU countries, and for orders from our US and Australia locations have not been affected by the change in EU VAT regulations and therefore the shipping cost has remained the same.
